Coca-Cola has initiated a recall of 2,000 cases of beverages, including Diet Coke, Sprite, and Fanta Orange, in the Deep South due to potential contamination. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall specifically for products sold in Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi, citing concerns about a “potential foreign material” in the cans.

The recall involves approximately 2,000 cases of these products, all packaged as 12-ounce aluminum cans in 12-pack fridge packs. The FDA issued a statement urging residents in the affected states to check their homes for these products and dispose of them.
